Package: fontconfig
Version: 2.2.0-5
Severity: important

I just saw this in the buildlog of kdeedu:
Setting up fontconfig (2.2.0-5) ...
Regenerating fonts cache.../var/lib/dpkg/info/fontconfig.postinst: line 84:
3890 Segmentation fault HOME=/root fc-cache -f -v >/var/log/fontconfig.log 2>&1
failed; see /var/log/fontconfig.log for more information
done.

bin/sh-2.05b# cat /var/log/fontconfig.log
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts": bin/sh-2.05b#

The package failes to build, but that seems to be due to another problem.
But why does fontconfig segault, and why doesn't the installation of
fontconfig fail when its postinst segfaults?
