Hello all, I was working on the moving of *ttf-indic-fonts* package to new fonts team packaging policy for Debian-IN team. Repeating same process for each package was quite boring so I thought of doing bit of automation work and wrote a wrapper against *dh_make*. I call it as *dh-make-font*, name is inspired from *dh-make-ruby* tool of *pkg-ruby-extras* team. This tool run dh_make behind the scene and cleans up unwanted files. Also it edits control file creates install and links (if fontconfig configuration is found). The result adheres to new font packaging policy. We are still working on handling the case when font source is available. Other than this script is in working condition and accessible here [1]. I've written a tutorial here [2] also a man page is included in the source I would love to hear feedback improvement suggestion and any other comments on this tool.
