With whom can I discuss these? With the list..:-) So, a first action is certainly to subscribe to the list so that we don't have to remember CC'ing you in each mail..:-) Then, well, where your ideas. I think that the way we currently package fonts (at least those managed by the team) is Not That Bad (modern packaging, source v3, dh7 onelines, many fonts built from source, etc.). But as time flies we more and more adopt other fonts (sometimes more or less abandoned by their packagers), so there's always room for improvement and good wills..:)
