Bug#970783: fwupd: its postinst script uses dpkg-vendor that may be not there
Package: fwupd
Version: 1.4.6-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
The installation of fwupd on a fresh (minimal) Debian Testing system.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Some error messages occur during the install.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Nothing special unless the risk having EFIDIR empty at line 17 in the postinst script on run.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The installation without such error messages. ;-)
Thanks,
Patrice
ps: the system is not the one from which this report is done.
