Upgrade to Lenny.
In an attempt to draw attention to the documentation on Lenny upgrades I added a section on the status page, but as that page doesn't seem to see many visitors these days either, I post it here too:

Though in general Debian Edu doesn't support upgrades and people are advised to reinstall, we try to provide upgrade instructions on a best-effort base.
Anyone attempting such an upgrade please contribute to this effort by testing the proposed solutions, fixing these instructions and adding other issues encountered.

As an upgrade process is inherently complex, beginning in an undetermined state, and it's testing is of limited scope, it's important to collect much information from such experience.
This is the place to collect that information.
