Upgrade kernel for hppa 64Bit
Hi,
seems like we have some documentation problem with hppa64....
The release notes tell me to add
deb http://higgs.djpig.de/upgrade upgrade-kernel/
to my /etc/apt/sources.list.
"Then install the packages kernel-image-2.6.8-2-64, module-init-tools and
initrd-tools."
Uh? From where should apt know about kernel-image-2.6.8-2-64? Neiter
higgs.djpig.de nor Debian/woody knows about that...
We either need to provide kernel-image-2.6.8-2-64 on higgs, or we need
to tell people to upgrade only module-init-tools, cramfs and
initrd-tools from higgs, and then wget kernel-image-2.6.8-2-64 from
Debian/sarge and install it via dpkg.
Greetings
Martin
PS: not checked other archs, might be the same there as well
