Sorry for the late answer. Don't check this email that much.

Yes, my use-case here was at work we needed to build packages for multiple platforms but they were all Debian-based. Multiple versions needed to be supported, so you can build for all Ubuntu versions and Debian versions by passing a source (branch) and some small arguments. This still sits at a Jenkins doing its job from automated docker images which are updated via cronjobs daily.
