Package boroken

Hello,
	The most recent updated debian install disks (i386) is broken.
It will complain disk checksum does"disk check sum does not match" at the end tndafter install all 5 base
diskks.
	Also, is the X11 debian X11 suppose to work on HP 486 machine ? I have
tried so hard, abut it doesn't seem to understand my mouse (PS/2 type) at all.
