Re: Bug#4557: Last file on iso9660-image always corrupted
OK! I patched the iso_write routine in mkisofs to write an additional 16
sectors after the last file and this seems to fix the problem with reading
from the loop device! I haven't figured out how to tell the program to
expect these extra sectors so it reports actual written extents as being
16 larger than expected extents, but no errors are created by this (that I
can tell so far). I'll keep looking and see if I can make the accounting
come out right, but till then you can try out the new mkisofs from:
ftp://dwarf.polaris.net/debian/experimental
