Hi Jean-Michel, welcome on this list and thanks for sharing all this info about Doudoulinux and the state of the collaboration with Debian. It's great that you want to stay close to Debian and don't worry, we do understand the "lack of volunteers" problem that might slow down things a bit. > On the technical side our philosophy is to keep stuck to Debian as > much as possible. Our changes are of different nature: I guess you are already in touch with the Debian Live people, but in case you are not please consider mailing debian-live@lists.d.o and point them to your changes. I'm pretty sure they'll be interested in having a look at them. Regarding other changes you might have done, it would be nice if --- volunteering manpower permitting --- you could report bug proposing your patches. In doing so, I suggest systematically user tagging them in a way that makes it possible to find a list of it. In the experience we have with other derivatives, it's nice to be able to point to the improvement to Debian suggested that way and it might also help us organize "merge campaigns" such as those we do with DEX. Thanks again for contacting us! Cheers. -- Stefano Zacchiroli -o- PhD in Computer Science \ PostDoc @ Univ.
