Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. (Your subscription patch is
still on my queue, but it's complex enough that I need to do the things
that are urgent for sarge first.)
The only concern I have about this approach is that it makes it hard for
people to predict where their mails are going to go, which would be a
pain if you absolutely need to contact the submitter but there's been a
huge flamewar in the bug which might have prompted the submitter to
unsubscribe. Some thought about this is needed.
