CI: Issues with networking on some platforms
Dear CI experts,
I have rewritten the autopkgtest of the Charliecloud package [0] and
uploaded the changes on November 1, 2023. The salsa CI seems to be happy
[1] but the jobs on ci.debian.net fail on some platforms [2]. Checking
the logs it seems that the failed jobs were caused by a lack of network
connectivity. Reading the CI Best Practices [3] suggests that this can
happen from time to time and one should retry several times. I will try
to improve the tests in this respect. Still I see that the tests have
already failed four times in a row for amd64 [4] which might be an
indicator that the failure is not due to a temporary glitch. Please note
that I had to adjust the MTU for the tests to work on the salsa CI [5].
Do you have any suggestions on how to address this issue?
Best regards,
Peter
