debconf (0.1.68) unstable; urgency=low
  * s/newbie/politically_correct_language()/eg;
    Closes: #47668
  * With regards to the second part of that bug report: critical is first on
    the list, and always has been, unless you are using the dialog frontend,
    where I have to do nasty re-ordering to make the default be first. If
    you want, file a seperate (wishlist) bug on this.

debconf (0.1.70) unstable; urgency=low
  * Some work done towards supporting containers.
  * Config scripts are now passed the version of the package that is currently
    installed when they are run, which is normally the old version of the
    package. (Analagous to postinst scripts.)

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.70 -> 0.1.71 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.71) unstable; urgency=low
  * The dialog frontend can now use --passwordbox with both whiptail and
    dialog, so I made that change. (Closes: #47196)
  * Added a section to the tutorail on adding backup capabilities to config
    scripts. (Closes: #47676)

debconf (0.1.72) unstable; urgency=low
  * dpkg-preconfig: fixed so it chomps the package name, to prevent ugliness
    like \n in the owners field. Closes: #48450

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.72 -> 0.1.73 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.73) unstable; urgency=low
  * In the dialog frontend, if a prompt is too big to fit on a dialog and
    has to be slit up, it will now display just the extended description
    in a dialog, and then display a new dialog with the short description
    and the actual input element in it. This is intended to reduce confusion
    when a user sees a question at the bottom of a dialog and an "Ok"
    button beneath it -- that won't happen any more, and I think it's
    ok to say this change Closes: #47644
  * Reduced the amount of code in Dialog Elments a lot.
  * Fixed yet another bug in dialog select box sizing. WIll they never end?
  * Dialog select boxes no longer have numbered items. Looks better.

debconf (0.1.75) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed confmodule.sh reentrancy problem.
  * Fixed a problem with empty text input fields in the Dialog frontend
    setting the value of the question back to default instead of to ''

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.75 -> 0.2.0 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.0) unstable; urgency=low
  * Now uses version 2.0 of the configuration management protocol.
    - All commands in the protocol now return a numerical return code,
      optionally followed by a space and a text return code.
  * confmodule is a new shell library that handles this by making each
    command it provides now return the numerical return code. They continue
    to set $RET to the text return code. This means that you now have to
    check the return codes of those commands, or the set -e script you are
    running them in may exit if they return an error code.
  * confmodule.sh is now deprecated, but remains for backwards compatability,
    and has special compatability code in it.
  * ConfModule.pm handles this by making each of its commands, when called
    in list contect, return a list consiting of the numeric return code, and
    the string return code. When called in scalar context, it behaves
    in a backwards compatable way.
  * Deprecated the VISIBLE command. Check to see if INPUT returns 30 instead.
  * Deprecated the EXIST command. Check for return code 10 from commands that
    try to use the question, instead.
  * The GO command no longer returns "back"; instead, it returns 30.
  * Documented all this.
  * Hey, a state machine is the way to go if you want to support back buttons!
    Converted the tutorial to reccommend this, and converted debconf's own
    config script into a state machine.
  * Used tables in several places in the tutorial where they make sense.
  * Split the actual working templates and code out of the tutorial, and put
    it in the samples direcotry. It is included inline so it is still
    available in the tutorial, but now I can also debug it and make sure it
    works..
  * Added the noninteractive frontend to the list of choices you get when
    configuring debconf.
  * If the text frontend fails (this can really happen, if you run debconf
    w/o a controlling tty in an autobuilder, say), falls back to the
    noninteractive frontend. (Closes: #48644)
  * The web frontend now only accepts connections from localhost.
  * The web and noninteractive frontends now print out text saying they are
    running.
  * If a frontend fails, the failure message is always printed, not just in
    debug mode.
  * Fixed checkboxes in the web frontend so if they are unchecked, this
    fact is noted.
  * Added debconf-loadtemplate to the .deb.

debconf - Debian configuration management system

  * Removed stupid debugging code. (oops)

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 2.0.61 -> 2.0.62 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (2.0.62) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed problem with dh_installemacsen options not working, patch from
    Rafael Laboissiere <rafael@icp.inpg.fr>, Closes: #47738
  * Added new dh_installxfonts script by Changwoo Ryu
    <cwryu@dor17988.kaist.ac.kr>. Closes: #46684
    I made some changes, though:
    - I rewrote lots of this script to be more my style of perl.
    - I removed all the verbisity from the postinst script fragment, since
      that is a clear violation of policy.
    - I made the postinst fail if the mkfontdir, etc commands fail, because
      this really makes more sense. Consider idempotency.
    - I moved the test to see if the font dir is really a directory into the
      dh_ script and out of the snippet. If the maintainer plays tricks on
      us, mkfontdir will blow up satisfactorally anyway.

mirror 2.9-10 -> 2.9-11 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/net
mirror (2.9-11) unstable; urgency=low
  * After consultation with the Debian security team, considered to remove
    the SuSE patch and to implement a simpler solution by mirror's author (on
    the web page at http://sunsite.org.uk/packages/mirror/, and installed by
    the package as README.Security). However, this breaks mirroring of Debian
    archives as the symlinks between binary-$arch and binary-all are not
    created. So we will stick to the SuSE patch, at least for now.

wu-ftpd    - A powerful FTP server
wu-ftpd 2.5.0-4 -> 2.6pre5-1 into dists/potato/main/binary-arm/net
wu-ftpd (2.6pre5-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * New upstream version.
    Biggest changes include autoconfized compilation; all doc/FIXES* files
    included in one file, CHANGES. The new license is here, too, but not
    much has changed from original BSD one.
  * Reworked most of Debian patches to match changed upstream code:
    + Instead of patching config.h, src/config.h and src/pathnames.h, do
      all we need in src/pathnames.h.in (with a bugfix in configure.in :)
      and when invoking configure.
    + Enabled quota support.
    + Minor corrections to the addftpuser script.
    + Defined SHADOW_PASSWORD in src/ftpd.c because logging in would
      not work otherwise (reason for that not quite known to myself).
    + Expanded the patch for src/ftpd.c which does
      s/openlog("ftpd"/openlog("wu-ftpd"/ to all similar/equal cases found.
    + Not including /usr/sbin/ckconfig in the package, it isn't quite
      useful to the package users, and there could be namespace pollution.
  * Updated the FAQ, version from Sep 19.
  * Added a patch from wuftpd-questions mailing list to fix _PATH_*
    warnings in ftpcount, and one from wu-ftpd list which is already in CVS.
  * Fixed clean: rules in debian/rules; added COPYRIGHT and doc/TODO
    from dh_installdocs line, removed INSTALL from it.
  * Removed proftpd from the Conflicts: line, ftp-server is enough.
  * Moved to Policy 3.x, requires newer debhelper. Made neccessary changes
    to packaging files which used old directories.
  * The change to FHS directories came in handy, and we can now dump most
    of the old alternatives system regarding manual pages, because they
    have nothing to conflict with in /usr/share/man/man?/ directories. The
    package already Conflicts: with any packages that might include those
    files. My further examination showed that we don't need alternatives
    handling for anything else except /usr/sbin/ftpd and its manpage (that
    one might be eliminated soon, too).
    On the other hand, we might once dump the Conflicts: with other ftpds,
    but reinstating the symlinks shouldn't be hard.
  * Added FHS /usr/doc symlinks creation/deletion to postinst/postrm (for
    postinst, I just rewrote sh stuff that debhelper would put in, in Perl).
  * Fixed some spelling/grammar errors in postinst, and removed a faulty
    exit(0) from the update-binaries query.
  * debian/README.Debian.changes moved to the end of debian/changelog file.
  * /usr/share/doc/wu-ftpd/README.config in the package is now a symlink to
    /etc/wu-ftpd/README, because there is no need for two different files.
    I edited the file a bit, too, to fix some mistakes and add some useful
    information.
  * Ditched worthless debian/notinc-* files.
  * Removed debian/cron.monthly file which wasn't used anyway.
  * Added a nifty little debian/watch file.
  * Made a PAM config file debian/pam, from RPM's wu-ftpd.spec file.
    Added --enable-pam to configure flags, and a call to dh_installpam in
    the rules file. It appears to work on my slink system with latest PAM
    packages installed, I guess someone will file a bug if it doesn't
    function on potato :)
  * Changed "compress" to "nocompress" in the logrotate file, because
    according to RPM spec file author, wu-ftpd can't handle SIGHUP properly.
    Indented the lines in the file better.

  * Maintainer release fixes the following bugs:
    - Closes:#41279: "License files are now in
      /usr/share/common-licenses/" and are now referenced as such.
    - Closes:#41281: "Reversed operator in modified line".
    - Closes:#41283: "yada cannot build some packages". Escaped "." and
      "+" in package names when they are used in substvar variable names.
    - Closes:#41654: "Yada should use /usr/share/doc/package instead
      of /usr/doc/package".
    - Closes:#41932: "Manpages should be under /usr/share/man, not
      /usr/man".
  * Implement symlinks from /usr/doc/$pkg to /usr/share/doc/$pkg, in a
    similar manner to debhelper.
  * Updated to standards-version 3.0.1.
  * Start of internal code reorganisation; parsing of debian/packages
    file should now be more robust.
