I think the md5sum.txt file on the CD is incorrect. You could try
validating the checksum of the entire ISO image against that from the
MD5SUMS text e.g. at
<http://cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/i386/>.

Phil, did you fix this in your scripts, so it'll work for 3.0r1?
