I tested kfreebsd-10 quite heavily on KVM and did not see anything like
this.  Please tell me what the Debian buildd setup looks like;  what
kind of virtual network and disk devices are used?  Output of dmesg
may be able to fully answer that.

Also, please describe the crash.  Does it reboot automatically, hang,
or something else?  Does it still respond to pings, does sshd still
respond, etc.
