Hello Steve,

No special setup installed on the system,

but searching for the kernel command line used to boot,

find that on disk boot command line use boot=UUID= ... ro quiet

with Kernel and init.rd

So I try to boot media with adding petitboot entry:

selecting : /dev/sdb (the USB device)

Kernel: /install/vmlinux

Initrd: /install/initrd.gz

Boot arguments: root=/dev/sdb/ ro quiet

And it work fine,

I'm sorry didn't find it before by-myself.

It worked for Debian 10 without root device,

since Debian 11 it's needed

I'll get new SSD and will make installation report,

for 11.6 and bookworm
