As discussed separately, from a d-i point of view, this shouldn't be a problem. *IF* we need to reupload d-i before 11.0, we'll pick whatever kernel is in the archive and work with it. The fact you're cherry-picking BPF patches instead of trying ship a bump of several upstream stable releases seems rather reasonable to me. If it ends up going through bullseye-security, it won't even be on our radar. :) But really, whatever you prefer and get ACK'd by the release team, we'll be happy with it.
