please file a proper bug report, eg using

reportbug installation-reports

I've looked in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?maint=debian-boot%40lists.debian.org
for relevant bugs and the only one I could find is

595696 [w| | ] [console-setup] console-setup should be able to select the font size according to SCREEN_WIDTH/HEIGHT, rasterizing one if needed

so please do file a new one, displays with reasonable resolution have become a
lot more common! ;-)

cheers,
	Holger
