[OT] breaking stuff during upgrades (was Re: etch backports)

Most of the time.
A Xen VM using pygrub, however, WILL break in various ways
during lenny→squeeze upgrades. First, grub2 is installed,
then menu.lst is no longer generated – and after installing
grub-legacy manually, menu.lst is overwritten, losing local
changes (grub2 makes backups, though). And udev prevents
upgrading before a new kernel was booted. Oh the joy.
Why is there no apt-get install-and-dist-upgrade?

That said, we’re working on s/Xen/KVM/.
