I'd like to get a tv tuner to put in my computer, preferably PCI.
Does anyone have or know of a tv tuner that is supported by linux so
that everything works smoothly with good quality?

Please use debian-user@lists.debian.org for that kind of questions
that are not specific to the amd64 platform. Thanks.

There hasn't been an amd64-specific question on this list in months, if
not years...

Well, this one question does have an (unspoken) amd64-specific facet, as in
"Does anyone have or know of a tv tuner that is supported by linux
_amd64_...". Not exactly everything works on all hardware architectures.
E.g. there are some webcams which work (sort of) using the i386 port and
hang the computer hard using the amd64 port. I know, I have one...
