Hi,
I have problems with mozilla+firefox. I am using the unstable
distribution.
Every time I want to start firefox or mozilla, no window is opened. The
.mozilla-dir and its subdirectories get created, though. There's no
error displayed in the terminal from which I start the browsers.
Does anybody know somethin about this problem?
I've been reporting this problem for a few months now, but nobody seems able to reproduce it.
Native 64, running chrooted X apps. Simple things (Xterm, Clock, etc) work. Konquerer, Firefox, Mozilla fail.
Strace shows them recieving X events, but no window ever opens. It must be some structure error with 64bit
windowmanagers and 32bit apps.

executed using dchroot -d, /tmp/.X11 is bound into the chroot space. Again, simple X apps (xterm, xclock)
work correctly.
Klibido had a strange problem as well, where I would have to use the FVWM window list to select a window before it would
appear. No idea what was up with that, but it made it
unusable. Every popup, confirmation dialog required me to find
the window.
For sure there are some 64bit windowmanger issues.
