I had forgotten about that.
I've been into the CMOS of many computers, back like 30 years ago, when I 
could barely use the screen, and later years with a reader, but haven't 
gotten into the BIOS for a long time.
These days I use the app
"Be My Eyes" for something like that.

Check bios to see if virtualization can be enabled.
I realize that's a frustrating instruction from an accessibility
standpoint.
But there are a lot of especially intel machines that require you to
turn on virtualization in the bios before vmx appears in cpuinfo.
