It feels like an odd comparision when someone compares DebConf to other
conferences. Most of them (even the 'open source' ones) are very
marketing, very user orientated. DebConf is really an event for
Debianites and those who want to get involved and maybe at the outliners
just want to learn more about Debian.

So... personally I would just like those people who don't really get
DebConf at all to meddle with it as little as possible :)

My guess is that Gunnar has similar feelings which might in part have
prompted that question.
