I am not going ahead with the FB page but happy to do promotion of DebConf via different forums and events :)

Daniel Lange and Louis-Philippe Véronneau (both Debian project members)
already expressed that we dont want a stinking facebook page, to you
suprisingly replied what I quoted above, which puzzled me already.

So again: please do not create a facebook page. Thank you.
