Mmm I would say the opposite... the canonical info is being published in debconf18.debconf.org and the Debian publicity channels (micronews.debian.org, bits.debian.org, www.debian.org/News) so if anybody is going/willing to maintain that facebook page, I would recommend them to link back to the primary sources.
