That's not a likely layout in Cape Town. Except maybe in a Hotel
conference centre, like the Breakwater Lodge.
Any university environment would probably have us spread across
buildings.

Umbrellas don't work too well, but yes, if you're coming to Cape Town in
winter, a raincoat is essential.

May is still off-season-ish, and has good weather. I don't have any
pricing data to back this claim up with, though.
